Holiday deals are coming earlier than ever before in 2022.

The Amazon Prime early access sale runs Oct. 11-12, and might as well be the new Black Friday for the online retail giant.

The two-day sales event -- exclusive to Prime members -- is Amazon's way of getting ahead of the holiday season, offering deep discounts on thousands of the nation's hottest products. Among those deals anticipated is a fire sale on select Amazon Fire TVs, as Prime members can shop up to 80% off select televisions during the sales event, plus additional savings on Alexa-enabled devices.

Beyond its own brands, you can expect deals on earbuds, toys, headphones, speakers, laptops and televisions from some of the world’s best brands.

Unlike its first July Prime Day event, this time around, Amazon is putting more of a focus on gift suggestions, with a focus on well-known brands like Barbie, Sony, Peloton, Hasboro and Peloton, rather than household goods. You can find something for everyone on your gift list this October, well ahead of the holiday rush.
