Polaroid is best known for cameras, but it's attempting to make inroads into the music device space with a new line of Bluetooth speakers that feature Polaroid branding and colorful designs.

Polaroid Music Players are numbered P1 through P4, in order of their size and power. The P1 is the smallest speaker, with a single 1.8-inch driver in a 4-inch-square package. The P2 doubles the number of active drivers and pairs them with dual passive radiators for significantly more power. This speaker is larger at 8.7 by 3.5 inches and weighs about a pound and a half. The P3 is even bigger, with two 2.5-inch drivers and a one-inch tweeter. Finally, the P4 is the biggest speaker with a 4-inch driver and a 1-inch tweeter, though unlike the P2 and P3 it isn't stereo.

Of the four Polaroid Players, only the P1 has weather-resistance with an IPX5 rating. All four speakers can be paired with an additional speaker of the same type to provide a dual-speaker stereo listening experience.

Polaroid is also producing accessories for the four speakers. A variety of optional shoulder straps for the P2, P3, and P4 Players (along with Polaroid cameras) will be available for $24.99 each. A $69.99 height-adjustable stand for the P4 will also be available, letting users set up the speaker elevated on a table or floor.

The Polaroid Players are designed to be used with the new Polaroid Music app. Polaroid Music provides access to the company's Polaroid Radio stations, which are ad-free, individually curated streaming internet radio stations. Polaroid Music also supports instantly accessing and liking music through the speakers' buttons themselves; Apple Music is currently supported and Spotify support is planned for the future.

The four Polaroid Players are currently shipping, with prices ranging from $59.99 for the P1 to $289.99 for the P4. We tested a P2 Player; be sure to check out our review.
