Marshall is one of the most legendary brands in the music industry. They have always been best known for their guitar amps, but now Marshall has gone mainstream. Lately, it has become very popular to have a Marshall speaker. And we could well understand why people want their fingers in them. The quality is fantastic and the design is fantastic. You get a unique speaker for your home.

The best Marshall speakers that offer excellent audio performance and feature Marshall classic vintage retro designs. The speakers feature smooth vinyl covers and polished brass knobs on the top, giving these speakers a unique aesthetic look. They also feature built-in tweeters and subwoofers that deliver rich sound, from clear highs to detailed mids and lows.

We liked that these speakers can produce a lot of volume without distortion, so you can blast music through these speakers with ease. In addition, some of these speakers are designed to be portable and waterproof, making them ideal candidates for outdoor use. Below we have listed some of the best Marshall speakers.

The Marshall Emberton Portable Bluetooth Speaker is a small speaker designed for listening to music. Its balanced mids and highs help reproduce clear and present vocals and lead instruments, and there’s a bit more boom and warmth in the bass range, making it suitable for a wide range of audio content.

However, like many of the small speakers we’ve tested, it struggles to reproduce a muffled low end, making it less than ideal for bass-heavy music genres like hip-hop or EDM. It also doesn’t offer any sound customization options. However, it is very portable and has an IPX7 water resistance rating, which certifies that it can withstand submersion in up to one meter of water for 30 minutes.

The Acton II Bluetooth measures 6.3 x 10.3 x 5.9 inches (HWD) and weighs 4.5 pounds. It comes in black or white models, with a fairly real-looking grain leather patina covering much of the top and side panels. The front is a tweed covered grille with the Marshall logo in pretty cursive.

On the top is a 3.5mm aux-in, a source button (to toggle between Bluetooth and the aux-in), a play/pause button, and a power button. There are also three knobs for volume, bass, and treble. The levels of these controls are displayed in under-lit red LED notches on the front of the gold-colored, anodized aluminum control panel.

Stanmore II is the mid-range offering in Marshall’s line of wireless speakers, with a price tag of around €350 that puts it in DXOMARK’s Advanced category. The brand says: “Stanmore II is the most versatile loudspeaker in the Marshall range and is perfect for any room, large or small.

The high midrange tends to become very aggressive at high volumes and the dynamic performance at very loud and maximum volumes is not very good as the unit loses bass precision and distortion is also an issue at these high volumes. The Stanmore II has some localization issues, as the soundstage is a bit blurry, the width is narrow, and distance performance is hampered by the lack of high-end extension and high mids.

The speaker has a few scattered knobs, but the most noticeable are the thin brass knobs on top. These three buttons allow you to adjust the volume and make some basic EQ settings. You can boost or cut the bass or treble right from the speaker, which is helpful when your phone isn’t around.

If you’re having trouble, you can also activate Alexa by simply pressing the microphone button. If you hold it down for a few seconds, the microphone will be completely disconnected. Then there’s the multifunction button on the left that lets you pause or play music and skip between tracks.

Compared to other bulky speaker options, the Stockwell 2 is relatively small. This might be the most compact Marshall portable speaker we’ve seen to date. Although it still weighs a whopping 1.2kg, the device is light enough that you can take it to any local house party or event.

Just like the other devices in the Marshall Bluetooth range, the Stockwell mimics the look and feel of a traditional Marshall amp, complete with tactile buttons on the top of the device and Marshall’s prominent logo in the center of the grille. The Stockwell 2 is available in black or gray with a leather-like silicone side panel.

The control panel includes controls for volume, bass and treble, as well as a power button, a play/pause button and an audio source button to toggle between Bluetooth mode and aux or RCA mode – there is a 3.5mm aux at the top input , and an RCA input on the back panel.

The free Marshall Bluetooth app delivers firmware updates for the speaker and allows you to use custom EQ presets or create your own. The app is used in conjunction with the bass and treble controls to set your preferences. You can also adjust the brightness of the red status LEDs, turn audio prompts on or off, or pair one speaker with another to create a stereo pair.

The winner of sound performance is the Woburn – the largest Marshall speaker. No wonder, because larger and heavier speakers tend to sound better than smaller and lighter ones. Marshall Bluetooth speaker models come standard with Bluetooth version 4.0 for high-quality audio transmission. Enjoy continuous streaming as long as the speaker is within 100 meters of your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, tablet or laptop.
