The Top 40 supplier is offering several speakers from the global consumer electronics brand for sale in the promo products market.

Polyconcept North America (PCNA, asi/78897) has partnered with another household name retail brand.

The New Kensington, PA-headquartered Top 40 promotional products supplier announced Monday, Oct. 3, that it has teamed up with Sony to offer three of the iconic brand’s portable speakers.

PCNA is now selling the Sony SRS-XB33 Bluetooth Speaker – and other Sony products – in the promo industry.

“Sony has unmatched brand recognition around the globe, with a history of innovation and product excellence spanning many generations,” said Mindy Hoffmann, PCNA senior category director. “We’re committed to offering the best assortment of technology and electronics brands, and Sony gives distributors a valuable new option within our portfolio of premium portable speakers.”

The three Sony styles are Bluetooth speakers with extra bass for powerful sound. They have a 1P67 waterproof and dustproof rating, PCNA said.

“We couldn’t be more excited about our new relationship with PCNA,” said Shelly Colla, Sony’s national sales manager for premium incentive and military. “We wanted to partner with one of the world’s top promotional products suppliers. We trust PCNA to provide high-quality customization of our products and quickly deliver orders to distributors and their customers.”

The Sony speakers will feature in PCNA’s ProudPath, a platform from the supplier that aims to help promo products distributors meet their customers’ environmental and social responsibility objectives. Through its Green Management 2025 initiative, Sony has defined sustainability targets for reducing its environmental footprint.

“We’ve made a commitment to only partner with retail brands that share our commitment to environmental and social responsibility,” Hoffmann said. “This is just one more way that Sony is a perfect fit.”

Demand for retail products has been growing rapidly in the promo space. Suppliers have been forging more partnerships with retail brands to meet the need. PCNA has been among the leaders of such efforts. The firm has more than 50 retail brands in its portfolio. It also recently partnered with Hydro Flask, a popular drinkware company synonymous with an outdoor lifestyle, healthy living and sustainability.

Based on reported 2021 North American promo product revenue of $696.4 million, PCNA ranked fourth on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry.
