The Xiaomi Flipbuds Pro includes aptX support and new Active Noise Cancelling technology.

Since the end of May, the FlipBuds Pro has been formally offered on the Chinese market. It has not yet been announced in India.

Xiaomi in-ears will presumably also travel to Europe, unlike their predecessors. The new name and the fact that the Xiaomi FlipBuds Pro has already received Bluetooth SIG certification. It suggests a worldwide version of the TWS, i.e., one that is also applicable to the German-speaking world.

With the energy-saving Qualcomm QCC515 chip, which includes aptX support and new Active Noise Cancelling technology. With this, the Chinese manufacturer hopes to gain customers in the fiercely competitive TWS market. This technology can reduce background noise by up to 99 percent and has a maximum noise reduction depth of 40 dB(A).

It includes an 11mm driver and a Qualcomm flagship audio processor, making them the company’s first audio accessories with true Active Noise Cancellation.

The noise level outside may be reduced by the ANC to 40dB, which Xiaomi equates to the noise level in a library. FlipBuds Pro includes three microphones: one picks up the speaker’s speech during a conversation; another listens for outside noise and isolates it, and the third ensures that the user’s voice isn’t inadvertently muted.

All of this is made possible by the QCC5151 Bluetooth chip, which monitors and filters external noises to prevent the wind from inadvertently being picked up and degrading the audio quality. Additionally, the FlipBuds Pro supports the aptX Adaptive Dynamic Codec protocol thanks to this chip.

With some Xiaomi devices, including the Mi Mix Fold, Mi 11 series, Mi 10 series, Redmi K40 series, Redmi K30 series, and Redmi Note 9 Pro, the FlipBuds Pro offers a low-latency feature.

The Xiaomi FlipBuds Pro’s battery capacity is not specified on the company’s official website, although the company advertises 7 hours of talk time (5 with ANC on) and 28 hours of total playtime on a single charge. The case allows wireless charging in addition to having a USB-C charging connector.

FlipBuds Pro is already available in China on Xiaomi’s website.
